Cara is famous! There was a story about us in today's Fort Collins Coloradoan newspaper (see the link on the top right). My students had prepared meals for us the week that Cara arrived. I contacted the local education reporter and told her what my students had done for us. She loved the story, especially at this time of year. Grandma H. and Aunt Mary arrived yesterday. They are both enjoying spending time with Cara. Here are a few new pictures. Enjoy!

Today we hung out at the house with our adorable little girl. We're developing a nice routine for ourselves and really enjoyed just being together.

Yesterday the grandparents left to return to Florida. We're on our own for a few days until Grandma H. and Aunt Mary arrive on Friday. Today we are going to our first doctor's appointment to check Cara's progress.

Grandpa cooked a great Thanksgiving-style meal for us yesterday. We spent a relaxing day watching football and enjoying time with Cara. She can't wait for the Bills game this evening.

First Days at Home with Grandma & Grandpa S.

We've been home for a few days now and are getting into a rhythm. The first night was a little rough -- we got no more than two hours sleep -- but last night was fantastic. It's been great having Grandma and Grandpa here. They've really helped us by taking care of the day to day household operations and providing us with some much needed relief for naps. Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Jason came up and brought us a cute cake. Today we're going to eat and watch college football. Cara is really excited about the Bills game tomorrow evening.
